In my private 1:1 coaching program, I provide focused attention to support you in setting up healthier boundaries around food, doing the deep work of spiritual fasting, and helping you navigate weight loss in a way that is entirely unique to my program.

 

We meet weekly via Zoom for 45 minutes each session.

 

In our sessions together, I will provide practical tools to help you achieve your weight loss and spiritual fasting goals, but more importantly, I encourage you to sort through your beliefs and thoughts about your relationship with eating and food to find the solutions that will create the life that you want.

What makes your weight loss program uniquely Catholic?

This Spiritual Fasting Program is based on the Sacraments of the Catholic Church. You will learn how frequent attendance of Mass, Adoration, and Confession along with daily Prayer through the Rosary and Scripture can lessen your desire for food and alcohol.  The program teaches you how to joyfully eat small, fast big, and feast occasionally right along with the Church seasons by becoming metabolically flexible, spiritually fit, and controlling your emotions. Redemptive suffering by delaying certain foods is offered up as a sacrifice to Jesus through Mary to obtain answered prayers and breakthroughs for your life and the souls of those you love.

What is spiritual fasting?

Spiritual Fasting is simply taking a rest from certain foods for a period of time for a spiritual purpose or breakthrough. It is a delay of eating food while praying instead of eating. This program is about consuming healthy whole foods such as vegetables, good fats, and protein in place of sugar, flour, and alcohol during the week. We teach you to follow a weekly regimen that follows the Catholic Church calendar. This means fasting on Wednesdays and Fridays and feasting on Sundays and special Feast Days of the Church.

Why should I work with you instead of a conventional weight loss program?

This is a new approach combining theology, biology, and neurology that is other-centered where as dieting is self-centered. SF is an ancient art that has been practiced in the Church for thousands of years. All Christians are asked to fast.  This program shows you how to do it successfully and lose weight at the same time. The weight loss becomes the side benefit over time. The motivation to delay the eating of certain foods comes from the heart and the change agent that allows you to be successful is the Grace that comes from Jesus in the Sacraments and Prayer. All suffering is redemptive and should always be offered up to God as prayer, penance, and reparation for sins.
